You can’t talk about the Mini Rex rabbit without mentioning the glorious, plush fur of the breed. Touching this breed is an experience you won’t forget. Mini Rexes are a smaller breed. They usually weigh in around 4.5 pounds. The fur and small size are reasons why Mini Rexes are popular. They are a breed developed in 1984 in Florida by Monna Berryhill of Texas and gained recognition in 1988. Generally, the mini-rex has a sweet but adventurous personality and disposition.

We have had a few mini-rexes for several years but didn’t include them into our breeding and marketing program.  However, recently Little Creek Farms decided to begin breeding mini-rexes for pets and obtained several good genetic bucks and does to provide a quality product for our customers.  In the near future we hope to have some kits available to market.
