Pet, Meat, and Show Rabbits
We breed rabbits for 4H and FFA students who need high-quality show rabbits. We have found that the Californian and/or New Zealand are the best show rabbits in Texas.
We also breed meat rabbits that range from 5-7 lbs. Rabbit meat is a lean, high-protein, and low-fat meat that is a good source of iron, zinc, and B vitamins. Rabbit meat is also very versatile and can be cooked in various ways, such as roasting, grilling, or braising. The Tamuk is a favorite pick for meat.
Rabbits have a gentle, affectionate personality and make great companions for people of all ages. Rabbits are relatively low maintenance and are clean animals that groom themselves. They have a low odor and are quiet, so they are ideal for people who live in apartments or have close neighbors.
