LITTLE CREEK FARMS is a family farm nestled in the piney woods of northeast Texas, surrounded by several beautiful recreational lakes. Owned by Larry and Linda Black, Little Creek Farms started in 2000 as a goat farm, and for almost two decades, we raised Boer goats but have recently down-scaled to being a breeder for show, meat, and pet rabbits.

We are members of the American Rabbit Breeders Association and the Texas Rabbit Breeders Association. With over 3100 square feet of cage area, we have an abundance of rabbits to offer, ranging from bunnies for pets and shows to mature bucks and does for breeders. We have New Zealand White, Blue, Black and Broken plus Californian, Holland and Mini Lops, and Tamuk breeds.

We are in the procress of building a 1200 sq ft climate control barn to house our show rabbits. Hopefully this will be in operation before next summers heat.

Our Family

Larry and Linda were married in 2021 and have custody of three grandchildren.  The farm is Larry’s original home place and after getting married Linda and kids moved to the farm.   Axton and Anora are twins that have really adapted to the farm.  Anora spend countless hours in the barn loving on all the critters (even baby mice when she can catch them), while Axton enjoys operating the farm equipment.

Annika is our teenage girl that had rather spend time on social media than in the barn, but she too has a love for animals – especially cats and dogs.

Linda in years past has worked in several positions including owning and operating her own business for almost a decade.  She now focuses her time to the marketing aspect of Little Creek Farms.

Larry is retired from a major defense contractor and is the “maintenance” part of Little Creek Farms.  In addition, he is an author with several published novels centered on the Scroggins Family.  Larry is also a church of Christ preacher of more than twenty years.

We enjoy the life that we have on the farm and welcome visitors to come see us.  We would welcome groups to use us as a field-trip outing for youngsters.

Our Rabbits

The New Zealand and California’s make excellent show rabbits as well as a meat source. Our New Zealand bucks and does have pedigreed championship credentials.

The Holland Lops are primarily for pets as they are cute and have a sweet disposition. Most of our lops are pedigreed.

The Tamuk is a large meat rabbit that can go either way – for meat or pets. We have several of this breed in a variety of colors.
